Wastewater Treatment Equipments

The Spencer Turbine Company made one of
the first sewage aeration blowers in the
1930s. In fact, our first wastewater treatment
customer still has Spencer blowers from that
era operating every day.
Among the Spencer products for municipal
wastewater treatment are Power Mizer high
efficiency cast centrifugal blowers, fabricated
centrifugal blowers, gas boosters, compost
blowers, positive displacement blowers,
regenerative units, UL/CUL-listed electrical
controls, and dissolved oxygen (DO)
monitoring systems.
For optimum operating efficiency, Spencer
blowers and gas boosters can be equipped
with variable frequency drives providing
automatic speed adjustment in response to
process conditions such as a low DO level.
Power Mizer blowers offer dramatic operating efficiency which is especially
valuable for sewage aeration, grit chamber aeration and channel aeration blowers that run around the clock and
around the year.
In such applications, these blowers can provide savings of tens of thousands of dollars per blower per year.
A fine bubble aeration system, coupled with an energy-saving Power Mizer blower, constitutes the
state-of-the-art in aeration technology.
Typical Additional Applications:
* Fabricated multi-stage centrifugal blowers for aeration and incineration.
* Lobe-Aire positive displacement blowers for aeration.
* Hermetically sealed gas boosters for digester or natural gas.
* Single-stage scroll blowers for compost and odor control.
